In 2020 i had a baby girl via forceps and ended having a 3rd degree tear into my bowels no drugs use whatso ever. recovered fine ...fast forward to 2021 I had a baby boy via Elective C section 4 months ago and also recovered brilliantly however me and my hisband know that we want a third and we want them all together age wise. He wants to start trying sooner rather than later but Im wanting some advice or know if someone else has had three back to back preganancies and to see how they recovered from it ect

You should wait 12-18 months following a C-section before conceiving to allow your scar to fully heal.

After a c- section they usually advise waiting at least a year before ttc due to scar rupture risk.

I had an elcs with our twins, over 6 years later we had a singleton. I planned an elcs at 39wk as she was very big, she decided to come the day before my elcs booking and I got scar rupture. I lost a lot of blood and felt absolutely shocking after birth, it was a much harder recovery. I have been advised to wait at least 2 years if we have more, definitely don't want a repeat of that birth but I recovered and was back in the gym lifting weights at 10wk pp.

My mother had the three of us back to back (all of us born within a year of one another) and after the third she nearly died of a post -partum hemorrhage after she was discharged from hospital. Pregnancy and birth is very hard on your body, I think it is wise to give yourself time to recover.

Not advisable this close to a C section. Enjoy your other 2 for now!
