Because of my endometriosis (Hope pregnancy will get rid of it) my pregnancy until now has been horrific I've been in utter agony. Several doctors have told me I'm having an ectopic or it's just not a viable pregnancy. I nearly had an operation last weekend to find out where the pregnancy was located and have it removed but I refused as I just didn't feel it was right when my hcg levels were more than doubling every 48 hours. Nothing was really showing on my weekly scans until today, measuring at 6.5 weeks and a little heartbeat finally appeared!!!! I'm over the moon after being told so many times it's not a viable pregnancy

They were going to OPERATE on you to find out where the pregnancy was and to remove it?! At 6 weeks?! This is usually the earliest possible time that a foetus can even be seen on an ultrasound! And your hcg levels were fine. This sounds like extreme medical negligence, not even sure there’s a word for it. From multiple doctors?

I remember years ago - pre-ready for a baby - the only way to help my painful periods/ovulation was to have a baby! I'd been to the doctors several times over many years about it and wanted to be tested for endometriosis but they said the procedure isn't worth it as id only be managing it the same way?? Any way, I remember breaking my heart once again about it all and really wondered if that was the only practical way to help it.

Few years after that shocking advice, we had our little girl and annoyingly what the doctor said was right. No more painful periods! The ovulation pain was there every now and then but now we're getting ready for baby number 2 and I really hope it's the end of all the trouble down there. Fingers crossed for you it all gets better. It's a horrible condition.

Also a big congrats and well done for sticking to your guns!
