Tips in recovering from stomach virus whilst pregnant? (25 weeks)- thing won't go

Have managed to catch a stomach virus, not lots of sickness (some) but severe cramps and a temperature, and also exhausted. everyone else ahd it for a day but I've ahd it since Sunday and its not getting any better. I've already missed the submission date for an imortant essay (have to apply for extenuating curcumstances), mainly because walking any distance is triggering painful B/ Hicks atm as I am so exhausted.

has anyone got any tips for recovery? Due tot ake boys away for this weekend for asa special trest (ds1's delayed birthday treat) and dreading atm. Any food ro drink whatsoever seems to just wosen the cramping.

oh dear well i really hope you feel better soon! the best thing for me when i get ill is to sleep sleep sleep(if you can!).another thing is to eat small amounts of bio yoghurt to help rid the bacteria! dehydration encourages braxton hicks, so try and drink as much as possible too! get well soon, xx

I agree, had really bad sickness bug when about 30 weeks and took to bed for about 1 week - the only thing to do! please keep drinking lots and get your OH to keep the boys out of mischief - take care

Ask your GP for some rehydration salts and just have them and water for 12 hours, always does the trick with me. Gives you gut time to relax properly and restores your electrolyte balance too.
