Not a lot of movement at 10 weeks

Hi guys. I had a scan at 9w 6d yesterday. Babies heart rate was perfect and measuring well. I saw a little bit of movement. An arm waving and a few little 'jumps' but these stopped for some time and we had no movement most of the scan. The sonographer said that was fine and babies don't constantly move, but I'm a little worried the movement was too few and far between.

Did anyone else have little or no movement at this stage and everything be fine? Maybe this baby is just a bit lazy! Grin

Don’t worry! My first baby jumped about like a wild thing at his 12 week scan so I expected my second to do the same and was worried when she barely moved at all. The rest of the scans, though, she waggled herself about so much the sonographers struggled to get good measurements, and she’s a busy little person even now. (Hence my posting at 5am...)

I was the other way round to @Roseandgeranium my son (now 7 never moved during scans and I assumed that was normal) and now my baby (I'm 22 weeks) is all over the place!!

@Chloesen90 so long the sonographer is happy I wouldn't worry too much - might have been sleep time!!

It's normal to feel movements from 20 weeks

CucumberCool · 03/11/2021 07:17

Read the post, people........
Normal not to see much movement on a scan. They will tell you if there is a problem, honestly.
