Hello, anxious mum to be here again!!!
I am coming up for 20 weeks pregnant. I have what feels like a sore stomach just below my tummy button, it feels like a slightly strained muscle and I'm worrying because I don't know what's going on inside and I'm looking to see if this is normal? My husband says it's probably muscles expanding for baby's growth but I'm slightly more anxious and need a little reassurance l. I'm so sorry if this seems trivial but it is tender around that area and I'm not quite sure what's going on. If only we could see inside!!! Thanks in advance x

Hi , this really does sound like round ligament pain but for reassurance can you see your midwife get a scan or Doppler done ? X

I think i have the same as you, I also have a cold at the minute and every time I sneeze it really hurts.

It all just feels tight, heavy and achy and I'm definitely putting it down to stretching as it around the point where these week by week pregnancy things say my uterus is stretching to.

As long as there's no really sharp pains or bleeding I'm sure there nothing to worry about ♥️

Hi! Definitely sounds like round ligament pain op. Mine almost felt like a stitch and I felt very stretched in the evenings round my tummy. It's settled now at 39 weeks!
