Early pregnancy - huge boobs already

Hi everyone

I recently found out I was pregnant, and straight away was getting very strong positive tests, I had dye stealers on the day my period was due, and clearblue digital were saying 2-3 weeks at around 12DPO. I was tracking ovulation due to a loss earlier in the year so don't think my dates are wrong.

Going by my dates I am around 6 weeks now.

My boobs have got absolutely huge though. None of my bras fit already, and it's crazy how much they've grown in the last 2 weeks or so.

I was pregnant earlier in the year and had to have a TFMR at 12/13 weeks and although they had got bigger, my boobs hadn't got anywhere near this big by then.

Is this normal? I'm seeing my midwife next week and have an early scan booked on Friday. Has anyone else had this happen? A few friends have said it could be a sign of multiples.

I can't imagine how big they will get by the end of my pregnancy hoping all goes well if they're growing at this rate. Do they keep growing throughout or does it stop eventually? Lol sorry for the question I'm just confused as I'm not sure I'll even be able to hide this one for much longer, which I'm so keen on doing up until I know everything is ok this time.

Thanks xxx

Yep! Very common and they will more than likely look veiny/swollen nipples. I find mine are huge in the first trimester, calm down in the second then boom massive by the third trimester! I don't mind it, especially when the pain goes away!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy Flowers x

Huge boobs were my only early pregnancy sign with DS1, and what made me do a pregnancy test Grin it was summer time and I remember I could not fit in any of my Bikinis.
But then, after the Initial boom, they stayed more or less the same the whole pregnancy (slightly bigger at the end due to weight grin, but I did not have to go again up a size)

They were huge during breastfeeding though

Sounds just like my symptoms. I had my 2-3 weeks at 12dpo and my 3+ at 18dpo. I had gigantic boobs that were super sore and sensitive.

Thankfully I was just pregnant with one healthy baby and I had him 8 weeks ago!

I'm 12+5 and I feel like I'm all boob at the moment. I lost weight prior to IVF so was used to my boobs being pretty flat and saggy but suddenly I can't turn over in bed without having to adjust them as they are so solid. I bought a multipack of maternity bras on Amazon to keep me going, they do a pretty decent job of containing them for now 🤣

Mine grew two cup sizes before 12 weeks, and have been roughly the same size since. I’m 33 weeks now. They might not grow throughout. Mine have never hurt, and didn’t go veiny, both of which I’d been told to expect too.

In the first few weeks I went from a 32B to 32DD at about 12 weeks.

I’m now 24 weeks and a 36DD and bras will need to be changed again I’m sure!

I was most impressed I was able to wear a top/dress without a bra in the summer!

I went from a 34B to a 36F in my first pregnancy. It was quite a shock!

My boobs getting bigger was my first pregnancy symptom honestly, very early on I went from a 34B to 34D and think I will probably need to size up again in third trimester as my new bra is already quite uncomfortable at 23 weeks now. But it was like immediately my boobs grew and seemed huge & now it's more the band is too small, so I probably need a 36D now.
