20 week scan today!

Eek. I'm so nervous. I had put it out my mind with half term and everything and now I have serious scanxiety!

I had my 12 week scan (at 13 weeks) last week and was a bag of nerves. Baby was all fine but now I’m nervous for my 16 week heartbeat check… I think pregnancy for me will just be a case of waiting and being nervous between appointments, but we just have to get on with it really!

I had mine on Thursday. Baby was being a little monkey and so they couldn't get through the 11 checks and I need to go back again 😅
It was a lovely to see how they'd grown though. Hope your little one is feeling less mischievous than mine x

Ah good luck :) It is just a waiting game isn't it, from milestone to milestone. I heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday - 16 week appt but am 17+3. So that was nice. Baby 3 for me so haven't been thinking about it much until every so often boom 'is it even alive???' pops into my head

Thanks! My trust doesn't do a 16 week heartbeat check but I have felt flutters today so I'm assuming that's a good thing 🙈

Ahh that’s lovely, especially that it’s happened today . I can’t wait to feel my baby move, about 6 weeks to go but I was told I have a posterior placenta at my scan which is good!

Aww good luck @RosieLemonade I thought the 20w scan was an amazing experience, seeing so much detail of baby's little body! It was fascinating seeing the different chambers of the heart, their little spine etc. I was a nervous wreck beforehand though haha.
