Polyhydramnios - labour and delivery

Hi ladies,

I was diagnosed with polyhydramnios a few weeks ago and am meeting the consultant on Thursday when I'll be 36+3 to discuss delivery plans.

Has anyone had polyhydramnios before? Did you have a controlled amniotomy and induction or go for a planned c-section. Were you admitted early (at 37 weeks) so you didn't risk going into labour at home?

I've had two natural deliveries in the past and am terrified of a c-section and recovery with a 2.5 year old and 4 year old at home. However, I don't know if the induction route is too risky. Argh-so stressed about it all. xx
