How long left

Hello
Currently I am 33 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby
My other child is 14 so this is all relatively new to me again lol
At my last scan on weds this week I found out my baby has dropped
I'm just wondering from other people how soon after your baby dropped did you go into labour etc as I just want to make sure I have everything prepared for her to make an appearance

Mine is facing down but am 32 weeks

I don't think it means a great deal I'm afraid, certainly not that anything is imminent. As far as i know they can stay that way for weeks, and seconds, thirds and subsequent babies can also engage but then move up again before you go into labour! Hope it all goes smoothly for you x

They’ll be a 12 year gap between mine and I know what you mean about it all feeling new!
This time I’ve been left to it really, not even heard the heartbeat (23 weeks) from what I remember from ds though is he was engaged for weeks on end, every time I saw the midwife she would say he’s engaged. Ended up being born on his due date so not sure it means much at all really.
