I hope this is the right place to post this, I usually scroll mumsnet on my phone so it looks different on screen! also, TMI ! Im looking for similar situations which might throw light on my issues.

Im currently 11wks with a FET transfer, and I'm 39. this is my first pregnancy and it's been a long journey to get here, though our hurdles were male factor infertility.

I had a red bleed with small clots at 5 weeks and again at 8 weeks. They were not heavy, lasted an hour or so with a day of pink spotting afterwards, but I did have period like cramps. Both times a scan showed the baby is fine and is a couple of days ahead.

I had a follow-up scan at 9 weeks at the fertility clinic, where she noticed my cervix had a dark line in it, as though it was filled with fluid or was open internally. I could see it too. They sent me immediately to the hospital and said I needed a cervical stitch. I was admitted but the hospital said that procedure isn't done in the first trimester so they weren't sure what the clinic was hoping to achieve. They did their own scan and were vague about what the issue was with my cervix as it was difficult to see and they couldn't draw any conclusions. There was a lot of "hmmm!' They suggested it might be left over clot material stuck in the cervix.

So I was booked in for scan at 10 weeks 6 days. I was really hoping the issue would have resolved itself but unfortunately looked the same on the scan. They did note my cervix hadn't shortened but don't really know what the issue is. She also noted there was a small amount of blood in the uterus, just over the cervix. but it's unclear if the bleeds and the cervix issue are seperate or related. I'm a bit stressed because the sonographer seemed rather stoic about it all, stating 'nobody knows who is going to miscarry really" but the doctor afterwards said she believed I was fine. I've not had any more bleeds, so that makes it a month today since my second one, however, the day before the scan, I had pink discharge when I strained too hard with a bowel movement, ( I did mention this but they didn't seem concerned) I went to the bathroom the evening after the scan even though I tried not to strain at all, there was again pink mucous, slightly stringy and I was terrified it was part of the cervical plug (if I even have one) Thankfully the last two days I've not had any more discharge, but I've also been really careful and let gravity do the work (TMI sorry!) also, there was no spotting afterwards, like it ceased immediately.

I should also mention between this, a couple of times I briefly walked around town, and I had a tan coloured discharge on my panty liner, which didn't happen any other times than when I was walking (So I don't even do that now)
I have my dating scan on the 9th, but I've been left with incredible anxiety over this. I'm scared to move, or go to the toilet, and worry that as my pregnancy progresses, things will get worse, not better. I would put the scan pic up, but the hospital took it away and I never saw it again.
I really hope this pregnancy is ok, as I might not get another chance, and it all seems so unfair because the baby looks perfectly healthy. Anybody experienced anything similar? Should I try to press for a stitch if it doesn't improve?
