I'm currently almost 28 weeks and considering booking a private ultrasound for my third trimester (for reassurance only, I have no particular risk factors). My bump measured around 80th centile at my 25w midwife appointment, myself and husband are both average height but I know bump measuring involves a margin of error.
We can only afford 1 extra scan between now and due date.
My question is, is there an optimum gestation for a growth scan? What gestation would you pick and why? Or should I wait and get a presentation scan at 36w instead?
