Pregnant with mirena

My first post on here unsure if I'm in the right place.
I've just found out im pregnant. My last period was early September so around 7 weeks.
I have a mirena coil and have done for around a year since a miscarriage last September which resulted in surgery because the miscarriage was incomplete. I asked the doctor to put the coil in during the surgery.
I've read all kinds of things on the internet about ectopic pregnancies due to the mirena and miscarriage because of the mirena being removed and I'm terrified.
I just wondered if anyone else has had similar? Getting pregnant with a coil in place and what happened? Was it as bad as google says?
Tia

You need to contact dr ASAP. They will be able to talk through everything. Stay away from google.

Thankyou for replying. I'll be ringing the GP on Monday once my children have gone back to school. I will ring sooner if i have any pain or bleeding.

You need to go to the dr immediately as this could be dangerous for both you and the baby. Hope you’re ok and doing well OP.

OP can you ring them today? I know it’s only a few days to Monday, but I have heard of women having lots of bleeding when this happens.

Ive rang my GP who didn't have a clue what to do said she'd never heard of this happening before so put me on a on call list for a call back today from a different GP practice. Well she just called me now she asked if I'd had any pain or bleeding which i haven't so she made me an appointment for the early pregnancy clinic at the hospital for monday she mentioned they'd need to locate the coil and the pregnancy because of a higher risk of ectopic. Thankyou everyone for the replies.
