Hello all.
I had 2 faint positive pregnancy tests last week. I started bleeding heavily on Tuesday which has continued into today. I have spoken to early pregnancy these last few days who have advised some bleeding can be normal in pregnancy but they cannot rule out a miscarriage, so she has advised me to retest today - which i have done (i will upload a photo), the test is much darker today compared to last weeks (i have a previous post with photos of the last test I’m not sure how to link it, sorry). I have a scan booked in for Wednesday when i should be 6 weeks (going by last period). I have no pain but tmi the blood is red with no clots.

I’m not sure what I’m expecting anyone to say. I think i just need a hand hold. Or some positive stories. Or if someone could please tell me what I’m looking for if i am misscarrying? Ps, sorry about the windowledge - i have abandoned renovations in the bathroom until my scan next week. X

Thanks x

I also have 1dc already age 2. I did have a few breakthrough bleeds with DC too but i cannot for the life of me remember how heavy it was. It didn’t last as long this I’m sure

So sorry you're going through this OP, it's such a scary time. I've had bleeding in all 3 of my pregnancies & it can go either way. My first was ectopic, second was a MC but my third & current pregnancy is going well at 37 weeks. In this pregnancy I've had brown, pink & red bleeding in my first & second trimesters. Always on wiping but never enough to fill a pad. I've also had cramping in all of my pregnancies.

With my MC I had 2 weeks of brown spotting on wiping & mild to moderate cramping. I was scanned between 5-6 weeks & a yolk sac was seen but no foetal pole. I was due to go back for a scan at 7 weeks but miscarried at home the night before. My bleeding & pain only got really bad once I'd actually passed everything.

I was told at my last smear that I have a cervical ectropion so that's what they think has caused the bleeding this time.

Fingers crossed all goes well for you Thanks x

I had a mild bleed on Monday at 11 weeks, like the first day of a period, not enough to fill a pad but close. Then brown spotting all week. Had a scan on Wednesday and everything was fine, for to hear the heartbeat for the first time. They had no explanation for what caused it, just to be thankful it was all ok.
So until you get seen don't assume the worst, just be prepared.
