THought I'd start a new thread on this.

My SIL had a gorgeous baby girl the other day, 3 weeks early at 37 weeks. Her mother said she was not surprised as her babies had both been early.

My mum had all 6 of hers late so can I assume that I'll go overdue as well??

Is this all nonsense?

My mum says everyone on her side of the family has been early, at least two weeks. I'd be interested in the replies. Would it depend on the father's family history as well?

My mum went early on all hers, my MIL went 2 weeks over on all hers. I went early on my first and I am hoping to on my second. However my sister went over on hers and both her MIL and our mum went early so not sure if you can tell for sure if you will go early/late by that!!!
