Light pink discharge 11 weeks pregnant

Hi everyone, I’m new to this and only now managed to figure out how to start a new thread….. sorry bare with me! So I’m around 11 weeks pregnant, I’ve had 3 scans already due to 2 miscarriages in the past. One mmc and another late mmc at 20 weeks. All seems okay and seen babies heartbeat twice now. Last 2 weeks ago. 2 days ago had very light and small pink discharge mucus type (sorry if tmi) but nothing since. I have been experiencing bad pain and the odd cramp but I’ve had that through this pregnancy anyway. Midwife said sounds fine and the placenta takes over around this week and can cause spotting. Anyone experience the same? Thank you

I'm really sorry for your losses every pregnancy is different but I vividly remember searching for the same thing when I experienced pink spotting in first trimester. My baby is now five months old I actually continued to bleed through the entire pregnancy which was distressing but never found a cause. The midwifes and doctors are only ever concerned if the blood is bright red, and lots of it! I also cramped throughout whole pregnancy. Just thought it might offer a little reassurance to hear a positive outcome! . If you're ever in doubt do go to your maternity unit , I pretty much lived there throughout my pregnancy! Thank you so much for replying, it really does help knowing others go through the same as you! I have a scan booked for next week with my consultant anyway as he’s scanning me every 2/3 weeks and then my 12 week scan a week after that. I’m just hoping all is good. I’m still feeling sick tired and very sore boobs so I’m guessing that’s a good sign. Plus no more pink tinged discharge since 2 days ago, and it was very small so maybe I’m thinking too much into it because of my previous losses. I do have a almost 4 year old daughter and I’m really hoping this pregnancy goes as well as hers! Xxx

It was a long time ago now, but with my first I remember having some spotting about 3 hours before my 12 week scan. I remember feeling very scared. But everything was fine and DS is 7 now. Sorry to hear about your losses and I do hope all is well this time
