Hi ladies !

First baby after 6 years so im still in the learning process! Inwas wondering if at your 38 week midwife appt will i get offered a sweep? If not then when? TIA! x

Sweeps are a form of induction so I would only go for one if absolutely necessary in case of a cascade of interventions. They only work if your cervix is already soft so labour would be imminent anyway
