This is my second pregnancy. I can’t quite remember with my first pregnancy but I started feeling movements properly with this one around 20-22 weeks. I have an anterior placenta which means it is on the front of my stomach which can make it a bit more difficult to feel baby or that it might take a little longer until you can feel movements. I think I felt movements with a first a little earlier but not by much.

SickAndTiredAgain · 25/10/2021 18:01

First little flutters at 19 weeks, I had an anterior placenta.

InTheNightWeWillWish · 25/10/2021 18:05

About 19 weeks with an anterior placenta.

I don't recall but it was a lot later in first pg. I think in pg 2 you know what you're looking for more.

First pregnancy here.
I think, although not sure, that I felt something around the 20 week mark. Just flutters, a bit like trapped gas!
I didnt really think much of it at the time but now im honestly being beaten up from the inside at 34 weeks 😂

I felt movement starting week 17 , which I was told was early for my first. My placenta was to the back though , which helped.

AllSinging · 25/10/2021 18:53

I felt my first movements at 18 weeks- felt like a tapping/flicking sensation from inside! I’ve got an anterior placenta so was surprised it was this early.

CocaColaTruck1 · 25/10/2021 18:56

Amijustagrump · 25/10/2021 19:24

Pac35 · 25/10/2021 19:45

I'm 19 & am just starting to feel irregular flutters. Today have had a few, yesterday I didn't have any. It's definitely not regular. I love it!

Arghlife · 25/10/2021 19:52

I was around 19 weeks, possibly 18 but I wasn't too sure. Definitely by 20 I thought they were flutters.

NeverHadANickname · 25/10/2021 19:53

IndecentCakes · 25/10/2021 20:22

21 weeks

DramaAlpaca · 25/10/2021 20:23

I think I was around 19 or 20 weeks.

Redpanda21 · 25/10/2021 21:13

14 weeks I had taps, was unmistakable by 16 weeks that it was baby.

Anterior placenta also.

JackJack84 · 25/10/2021 22:17

Flutters at 17 weeks & definite movements at 18 weeks with posterior placenta. I was desperate to feel movements early on, I'm now 36 weeks & sick of getting the crap kicked out of me all day 😂

helppregnantlady · 25/10/2021 23:10

Started feeling baby at 16 weeks. First time mum and anterior placenta.
