11 weeks pregnant and no contact from midwife services

I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant and completed a self referral to my local midwife services a few weeks ago but have heard nothing since, so I've not been able to book any appointments for scans or blood tests. Is this normal?

I have tried to chase but I keep getting put through to the gynaecology department who don't answer the phone. Doctor can't help as they don't do referrals anymore. Not sure what to do!

Is there a number to call on the website of the hospital where you’ve been chosen to give birth? I self referred via the hospital website, but had to chase for my booking in app by phone. You should have had your booking in app around now at most trusts I think, with your scan ideally taking place before end of week 13 if you want the additional tests. So think you do need to track down a phone number or email.

Ask your doctor for the contact details and tell them your struggling to get hold of them and to be an actual doctor and help you.

Thank you for your advice. I phoned the doctor again and they ended up giving me a different number for the midwife booking team, so just need to get hold of them now. Nightmare!
