Cake makers - when did you stop?

It's not my full time job but I have a part time job mainly at weekends of cake making, I'm due at the very start of March. I have taken an order for the start of February and I plan on this being my last. Now I'm panicking thinking should I? Theres no reason (at the moment) for me to go early but I know sometimes it can just happen. What's your thoughts? Keep it in the diary and hope for the best? I know nobody can predict what will happen but just want to get other peoples experiences. Thanks!

Not a cake maker but I think you’ll be fine and if not, no one plans to be a month early with their baby so it’s hardly your fault. Good luck

@CurryandSnuggle thank you, probably worrying for nothing as per usual hence the name! It's nothing stressful so I'm not worried about that aspect. It's more the letting someone down but you are right, if the worst happened then it isn't my fault. I haven't announced my pregnancy yet but will be soon so I will make sure they know and if they have any worries then its understandable if they go elsewhere

I stopped at 32 weeks with my first, which was lucky because I was admitted at 36 and he was born that week. Recently now I had another baby and I stopped at 32 weeks...which was lucky because I was hospitalised at 33 and 34 weeks and baby was born at 34+2. This time I did have placenta previa so there was always a risk it could be early but could've been anywhere from 28 weeks onwards so I had to keep some bookings in.

@Garman thank you for your reply, I suppose you just dont know eh?, nobody can ever plan a pregnancy. If I know of any problems that occur between now and then I will definitely consider cancelling and hopefully give them plenty notice to find someone else, that's if they don't decide to do this anyway when they know I'm pregnant
