Pregnancy freebies?

Hi everyone, I'm new here :) First pregnancy.

In my home country there are companies and shops that give away a small bundle of baby stuff for either free or cheap for moms like pacifiers, formula, breastfeeding pads etc.

I was wondering if there are any in the UK? Hoping to get some good tips from expert moms :) As you know there's a lot of expenses that come with having a baby, so I'm trying to be as savvy as I can and get good finds.

I've never joined any of these things as I don't want to be inundated with spam and junk mail.

Expecting my third currently.... Are any of them worth the hassle? (the freebies, not the kids 😀)

@ChikiTIKI in my experience no - loads of spam and I could never find anywhere that actually had the free bags in stock!

You used to be able to do baby university and get a free baby box which was worth while, but none of the others seen to be and baby box has now stopped.

@ChikiTIKI I didn't bother with my first as thought I'd be spammed and the packs looked pretty rubbish. No spam so far and my packs have actually been pretty decent - I'll see if it'll let me attach a picture. Think a lot depends on where you collect them from. Boots is apparently a bit rubbish! Mine were from Argos and Tesco
