Movements 30 weeks

Hi. I'm a FTM. 30 weeks along. I just wondered if my baby's movements should be consistent by this stage?

I always feel movement at some stage during the day, but there's no pattern yet. Some days the movements are frequent and strong. On other days I really have to concentrate to feel some kind of movement and they are less frequent/ strong on those days. Is this normal? (I don't have an anterior placenta btw).

Thanks in advance for sharing any advice/ personal experiences.

I started to understand more or less my pattern at about 33 weeks (I'm 35+5 now). I think it differs from pregnancy to pregnancy, and I had the same problem. I was going mad because as you, it wasn't a change happening during 1 day but after several. Few day of strong movements and then a couple of mild ones, like she was tired and needed to rest. And then you start to worry if this goes into the "decreased movements" section Confused after a while the movements will start to be more clear and the pattern on my case was still the same, with a change during the week. You'll probably catch it better in few weeks, and as usual, the midwife can guide you if you are worried Smile
