Are Dad's to be entitled to time off to attend scans?

I thought they were but can't find anything on the goverment web site. My DH employer is kicking up a fuss because DH went to a scan with me today and the consultant wants us to go for another next Monday to make sure the baby's still growing. I'm 36 weeks plus 2 days and this is really stressing me out, I need him there with me.

Looks like I'll have to ask my Mum to go with me but I really wanted DH there incase its bad news .

I've got preeclampsia and I can feel my blood pressure on the rise because of this, I'm fuming, can't believe how unfeeling they're being . Its not like he's asking to get paid, he never gets paid for time off as the company he worsk for are so crap.
