Can't feel mirena coil strings ?

Hi everyone
Not ttc but having a bit of a flap. I've had the mirena coil 5/6 months now. Had it checked after 3 months and was all still in place. Xould feel it myself too.I've been feeling really off this week, so thought I'd just give it a check to make sure and I can't feel anything at all checked quite a few times now, as has my partner.. there's nothing there..
Anyone had this before? Thanks

Firstly, don't panic! You'll need to arrange for it to be searched for and take a pregnancy test just to be on the safe side, in case it fell out without you noticing. If it's still in there somewhere, because of the hormones it gives off it should still be working even if it's shifted.

If you're feeling really off, give 111 a call in case it's shifted and perforated something. Otherwise, in the morning, Google your local sexual health clinic, call and explain the situation and see if they can fit you in.
