Earliest signs of labour

I'm a second time mum and 34 weeks pregnant. I was just wondering what other people's first signs of labour were as I have heard a real mix.

With my DD1 I was having contractions and then I had a movie style water breaking moment (kind of loved it lol) but some people have said about 'bloody show' and a few other things.

What was your experience??

2nd ds at 39+1 Bloody show the day before after a sweep then nothing until waters popped all over the kitchen floor, then contractions thick and fast after 30 mins of waters going baby born just over 2hrs later

@boymum88 oh wow! That sounds very quick! Well done you, my labour with DD1 was only a few hours all together as well so opting for home birth this time just in case of it happening even faster this time!

I knew it was goona be quick as I have an incompetent cervix Dh was only in the room for the last 40 mins as was waiting for ds to be collected, had my first at 28 weeks in about 4 hrs, tbf I was glad it was quick rather than the poor lady's that labour for days on end

Last one I had massive contractions about 5 minutes apart. Luckily they eased off enough fir me to get to the Hospital 😅

I had a bad stomach (digestively) the day before it all started and period-type pains for about 24h before.
