Clear Blue 3+ too early (17/18DPO)

I have quite the prehistory or pregnancy loss (new pregnancy after three losses), so am quite anxious. In the past I often have worried about the lack of progression on Clear Blue weekly progression sticks. Now I have a bit of an opposite issue.

I am currently 4+6 along in terms of my last period, but only 17 or 18 DPO since my (slightly late) ovulation (I used daily OV tests, so am quite sure of OV). This time, I have had strong pregnancy symptoms from the very beginning, feeling absolutely ravenous, quite thirsty, pulling sensations in my lower abdomen, low level sense of nausea, tender boobs, etc.

I tested this morning and got a 3+. It wasn't even with FMU, and I don't know if it would have been 3+ already yesterday or so, as I only test every so often.

I am slightly confused about this early 3+, as I have never been 'early' in terms of HCG increase. I understand it can indicate multiples (which I initially joked about with DP last week, as my pregnancy symptoms kicked in so fast), but also can be a sign of Down's, molar pregnancy, etc.

With my track record and age (35+), I guess I am just freaking out a little that this seems another thing which doesn't follow the 'regular' trajectory, even if at first sight it looks hopeful. Are there people out there who have had the same and can tell me what it meant for their pregnancy?

Congratulations! I got a 3+ on a clear blue digital at 17/18 DPO. Like you I was a little worried (even posted on here I think!). All was fine though and I'm currently 34 weeks. Fingers crossed for you Thanks

I meant to add, I've also had a CVS which was clear for all trisomes etc x

Thanks @t00tsie for your response. That is a relief to hear. Congrats on being so far along, exciting!

Don’t panic, I also got my 3+ on a digital at 18dpo. I was 38 at the time and thankfully an early scan at 5+4 confirmed a single pregnancy with a healthy heartbeat.

I’d suffered several losses prior to that pregnancy and had tests that didn’t progress well. So fir me, the fast progressing tests was just a great sign fir me that this was a strong pregnancy. My baby is now 7 weeks old!

Congrats!

I had the same, they pushed me a week forward at my dating scan, even though I knew the dates, so guessing I implanted really early!
