Hi
Not sure if I’m being dramatic here, but I’m 35 weeks and been lucky so far, is just having regular pregnancy annoyances like weeing every half hour, struggling to sleep etc. However, is it normal at 35 weeks to really be struggling to walk, amazed at the feeling of the weight I’m carrying around? It’s my first so I don’t know what’s normal. I’m kind of hoping she’ll come early. Anyone else felt like this?

I've felt like this a lot this time, its my second baby and by 35 weeks I was bigger than I was full term with my first. I'm now 38 weeks and it is a struggle, but you get by. Are you resting lots? Try and get in a daytime nap if you can.

Is baby engaged? I found that once mine was properly engaged I really struggled to walk with the pressure in my pelvis. As hard as it is I do think that it’s quite normal though. Try to rest as much as you can.

Hi there
The midwife said last week that the baby was ‘low down’ but she wrote notes of 4/5 on my notes. I believe they don’t class the baby as engaged until they measure 3/5? Feels like there’s a bowling ball there ready to fall out though!

Thanks for you reply. I’d like to rest more really. I run my own business and have to help elderly family out. I will try harder. Thank you 😊

I'm 34 weeks and feel everything is a struggle. I do seem to remember it just going on and on until I gave birth at 39 weeks.

When's your due date? Mine is 29th Nov :)

FTEngineerM · 22/10/2021 11:24

Realistically you could go to 42 weeks so that’s another 7 weeks’ worth of growth.

Luckytattie · 22/10/2021 11:25

Don't say that! Lol

Nearly 38 weeks, feel like I’m lugging a giant concrete ball around with me and baby isn’t even that big 🤣🤣🤣

Emtaboo · 22/10/2021 11:43

@Luckytattie my due date is 26th November, very close to yours’. Good luck x

And to you! X

It's awful isn't it. I've been struggling since around 20 weeks as have really bad PGP. This is my second and it's been so hard this time. I am due 25th November, but not sure how I'm going to keep going with work and a toddler when I just want to crawl back into bed every day
