As per the title, for those of you who've had a scan recently, were your partners asked to provide proof of a negative test? My letter just says they request an LFT is done 24hrs before but doesn't mention proof but just looking on the trust website and it says about uploading the test result to the Gov website for result evidence.

Hello @Bluepop09! We do not have to do this at my trust but have read about it being common elsewhere x

Our trust says the same but they've never actually asked to see it - still pregnant so not sure if they'll ask in labour ward. We just do it anyway because a) we test both of us to make sure we're not taking covid in to staff/vulnerable patients/babies we might come across and b) I wouldn't want to risk being challenged on it and then him missing my appointment just because we hadn't done it!

Don't have to do it in my trust but some of the women in my pregnancy group have to do it in theirs. I'd upload the result so you have the proof just to be on the safe side, don't want him being turned away!

We both had to show the texts we received stating both negative after recording test results. If DH didn't provide his, he couldn't attend. They would still see me if I couldn't provide mine but I always did. I'm in Dorset but know it varies in different trusts.

Thanks all, I'll get him to upload it just to be on the safe side Smile

My trust (Northumbria) ask for a photo of the negative test, SMS from register it or taking the test in a closed sandwich bag to prove that its negative.
Hope it goes well for you
