Anyone else due in November? I am with my first and I'm so nervous 😟 it's all becoming so real now with only 4 weeks left.

I am due a similar time to you (my due date falls in the week beginning 15th of Nov). This is also my first, and I am starting to freak out a little, as we haven't finished decorating yet.

Greyeverywhere · 21/10/2021 22:39

I'm due my third in about 4 weeks and I'm so anxious as my other 2 are quite a bit older and I feel like I've forgotten everything!
There's so much I still need to do but honestly I don't know why I'm panicking as I've done it before and it was all fine Grin.
I hope I can enjoy the first few months with this baby more than I did with the others as I was so so anxious all the time over every little thing but I need to think of my older dc as well as the baby this time so no time to be panicking!
Is there anything in particular you're nervous about?

DancingintheSpoonlight · 21/10/2021 22:47

Me with my 2nd!

I definitely feel less prepared this time than last...nursery isn't being done til week after next and I can't even work out if I have everything! (7 and a half years since last)

Currently waiting on DP to get result of his PCR any time so twiddling my thumbs at home while worrying about that Sad

It's good to know that I am not the only one leaving lots of baby arrival prep to the last minute. I think it's difficult to organise a lot of this stuff while you are still working.

Today is my last day at work, and then I will have capacity for some extreme nesting.Grin

I don't have a nursery for her, we are only renting a two bed house and my boyfriend has a child from a previous relationship who comes over every other weekend so he has the second bedroom but I have put a baby wardrobe and a chest of drawers in there for her everything else is in the living room just haven't been able to make a proper nursery for her yet, hopefully in the new year we will find a house to buy 🤞🏻
Also scared about giving birth and afterwards, just want to be able to look after her. Everyone keeps telling me that mother instinct will kick in which I hope it does, feel useless like I won't know what to do 🥺 but on a positive note I am very excited to meet her, we had a 4D scan a few weeks back and she's so cute 🥰

Aww those scans pictures are adorable!!

I'm due second week of November too, this is my second after a 20 week loss 😔

I'm exciting and nervous because of previous experience. I just want this baby here safely

Anyone experiencing tightenings/period cramps yet?

Mysleepingangel · 23/10/2021 13:48

@DancingintheSpoonlight oh my gosh, me too!

I was in hospital recently and just got a call this morning to isolate as someone tested positive so been worrying about that ever since.
DH was working today, so had to get a pcr and come home. Currently waiting for his results.

I'm negative but have to isolate Sad

Dipsydoodlenoodle · 23/10/2021 16:28

I'm due 24th November. FTM.

Its looking likely that baby will be forcibly evicted from 37 weeks though (low expected birth weight).

romdowa · 23/10/2021 16:29

I'm booked for a section on the 4th of Nov at 39 weeks. So less than two weeks for me 😨😨

Ughmaybenot · 23/10/2021 16:33

Due my first on the 7th November, cannot wait to meet baby 😊 booked in for a section at 39w+5, we’re under two weeks now and I’ve yet to feel any kind of nerves, wonder if it’ll hit me the night before or something stupid 😂

elenacampana · 23/10/2021 16:38

Due our first on 2nd Nov so 10 days to due date. I was so anxious about the birth for a couple of weeks but have developed an ahhhh whatever attitude towards it. Hoping I stay as calm when it actually happens 🤣

G3nn · 24/10/2021 00:29

Awwww she's smiling!!!❤ those are really cute scan!
I'm due the 22nd, not anxious yet, probably because I'm more focused onto all the sudden symptoms of bump and back pain for now Hmm

happyavocado28 · 24/10/2021 00:43

I'm due 19th Nov. FTM. Getting a bit nervous about actually giving birth.. like how is this baby going to come out of down there? I've never had any sort of physical pain like broken bones or anything in my life so really not sure what to expect in terms of pain tolerance. And even if I somehow manage to get through that, im still worrying about how I'm actually going to look after a baby. DH is much better with kids. Worried I won't have a 'maternal instinct' or know what to do!!
