Just had a negative pregnancy test. I've taken a test because I'm currently on day 2 of being late for my period.

Cycle length -
May - 30 days
June - 29 days
July - 27 days
August 27 days
September - 30 days
Currently on cycle day 32
As you can see I'm quite regular and my periods always last 8 days. I always spot for 2 days and then bleed for about 4/5 before it goes back to light spotting. But I've got absolutely nothing! No symptoms of either period or pregnancy. I always know when I'm pregnant as I miss my period without any symptoms but my test was completely negative.
We arnt trying, we've been using pull out (which I know isn't bullet proof but it's been working for over a year now).
With my second pregnancy I was getting negative tests for 2 weeks before I gave up thinking something was wrong with me and then 2 weeks later found out I was in fact pregnant. The doctor told me I probably just ovulated later but it was the first month without contraception whereas this time I'm not on contraception.
I feel like im going crazy and it's consuming me. How effective is pull out? Has anyone ever gotten pregnant from it even though you're completely confident it's been done right?
When do I re test. Do I wait another couple of days? Or do I wait another week? What are the chances of my period just suddenly turning up? I've never gone this long before. Please can someone just stop me from going crazy!
