Baby barely moves 33 weeks

Ive a baby who has always rarely moved much, shes in an awkward extended breech position with her legs and feet up in front of her face, plus I have an anterior placenta. So all I feel are the sort of flutters you get when you very first start feeling them move and some pressure where I can feel parts of my bump harden. But there is no consistency to this and some days I feel barely anything. Baby has always been this way.

Is/has been anyone the same? How on earth do you cope with the lack of palpable movement?

I've been monitored regularly and blood flow, placenta, fluid, growth all look fine. I have fortnightly scans - all fine, just fairly quiet.

If you've a similar baby that you rarely feel how do you cope?

I'm now 33 weeks and it’s upsetting me so much worrying I've lost my baby almost every day.

Not exactly the same as you but I found it much harder to sense movement clearly towards the later stages of pregnancy, I think because the baby is that bit bigger. Mine was breach til about 32 weeks too. I went into hospital for monitoring a few times and although it's a hassle I was always relieved I'd done it. It's so hard because there's an awful lot of pressure on you as the mum to sense and gauge the baby's movements and I got a bit obsessive over it. It sounds like you're doing plenty by having regular check ups and scans. I wouldn't hesitate to pop in if you are getting very anxious though - they absolutely never mind and it always put my mind at ease.
