Labour or braxton hicks?

Hi!

I had a sweep yesterday morning the doctor said I was 1cm dilated, 2cm long and cervix was soft. Since the sweep I've had increased pains/tightenings to the point that I've barely slept they feel like intense period cramps with back pain, I have been timing but I don't know if they are too irregular still? I also don't want to turn up at the hospital to be sent home especially with the covid rules.

Labour or braxton hicks?

I would def be calling the labour ward at this point. They're every three minutes and lasting around 60 seconds.

Is it your first? Are you in pain? They seem to like hearing you struggling as the real test but everyone's pain threshold is different.

Thank you!
I've been holding off as I was having strong braxton hicks the night before I got my sweep but this is completely different. It is quite painful almost feel like I can't move every time I get pains but I just wasn't sure if the sweep would actually work as I know they don't work for a lot of people.
