Bleeding in pregnancy

I’m 6 -7 weeks pregnant and have been getting brown pinkish what looks like discharge? And the occasional stomach cramp wondering if anyone has had something similar? My GP practice has booked me in for a scan tomorrow to check everything is okay

Hi @op, I had pink then brown and sometimes red discharge between weeks 6 and 8. Got scanned, all fine. Possibly implantation blood that hid for a while. Possibly just hyper-vascularisation and the odd blood vessel in the cervix/vagina popping. Also had pink discharge for a few days around week 12. I'm now 15+4 and seem to be fine. Had a scan at 14 weeks, baby was absolutely grand. I hope your scan goes well and can reassure you, you've done the right thing by telling your doctor. See if you can get the number for your EPU while you're there for future though.

Forgot to say, I get weird pains all the time, likely just growing pains. Everything is expanding to accommodate blood, baby, placenta etc

Thanks for all the comments, I’ve been for my scan and they said in 5-6 weeks they have taken measurements and there was no heartbeat they think I may be miscarrying I have to go back next week for another scan to confirm this as by next week there should be a heartbeat and the fetus should have doubled in size. They said from my last period and positive test I should be further on than I am. I have everything crossed for next week but I feel like this is the end of my pregnancy

@honey2022 I'm so sorry you didn't get positive news today, I know you have to brace yourself for the worst but I hope you get happy news at the next scan. It's horrible when you get bad news, there's nothing you can do but wait and see. Sending you all the best wishes
