Things to do while waiting for baby

I've just started mat leave, got about 10 days until due date (first baby). I have a small list of things to keep me nicely busy and preoccupied but was wondering if people would like to share their tips/ideas for things to do in these last days - just for fun and a bit of inspiration for me!

@Milkbottlelegs I think I will try and get everything online if I can! Although I do have a few birthdays in November and December which I'm going to buy presents for now so they're sorted. For some reason I just can't face Christmas shopping yet it feels too daunting!

You can also make lots of xmas presents for close family when baby is here eg framed photos of baby, baby footprints, etc

I was going to say swimming but you've already covered that! I had 4 weeks of leave before DC1 finally arrived and swam 3-4 times each of those weeks. I loved it.

Also have an excellent memory of going to a local gallery and enjoying whatever exhibition was on there then reading my book in their cafe with a cream tea. That was a great afternoon.

Have a tidy up, throw away loads of rubbish, wash baby clothes, get your hair done, take lots of baths. Also if you can, buy and wrap as many xmas presents as possible while you’ve got time!
