I'm 13 weeks 1 day, first pregnancy, so excuse me if this is a stupid question x
I had a very busy weekend and had a long (stood up) train journey home on Sunday and ever since my right hip has been causing me problems :(
I'm fine when I'm sat or lying down but standing and walking around just results in a sharp pain in my outer hip, sometimes shooting down the top of my leg if I'm moving too quick or just round the pack of my pelvis (again only on the right side) x
I'm not worried about baby as it feels completely separate to my uterus/tummy area but it's very annoying x
I thought it would have eased off by now and it hasn't is this normal and is it likely to stick around to the end? Please say it'll go away as 6 months of this sounds horrendous 😅

@Teaandcrumpets95 i could have written this! I had a super sore knee and hip after walking over 20000 steps on saturday (17 weeks preggo over here) eased off a bit today. So hopefully it was just my body telling me im over doing it.

Hope you feel better soon!

I'm 26 weeks and still get this I'm afraid! I had the same as you which I think was nerve pain but now it's in my ribs too so hasn't really got any better. It tends to be worse when I overdo it and overdoing it really easy it seems! I hope it does improve for you thoughSmile

Thanks for responding ladies!
Good to know it's normal and I'm not alone in this 😊 x

Tried to go for a walk, basically got stuck half way hugging a lamppost and couldn't move but then managed to carry on with small steps and it improved x
I just don't want it to get worse or be like this the whole way through, perhaps a sign I need to have lazier weekends 😅
