I have had one since last night and despite drinking my own body weight in water and getting 7 hours sleep its still there.

I wanted to avoid taking painkillers as i have heard you shouldnt in the first trimester,

Any advice welcome although I cant afford to go out and buy fancy gadgets like 4head or anything like that

I had this on sat, after a head massage when i was having hair cut it went a little, ask DP or a frined to give your head a massage. Or try a cool flannel on forehead, seemed to help me. Huge sympathies!

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

DON'T BOTHER WITH 4HEAD - VAPOUR RUB DOES THE EXACT SAME JOB AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE!!!

I had awful headaches in early prg, and it does work! Also a cold flannel across the head.
You can take paracetamol, but not aspirin or ibuprofen.

I get this alot. I do take paracetemol as I don't think I could get through the day sometimes (as you say, it can last 36 hours). I am just off to acupuncture and am going to mention it again there, when I've done this in the past it has helped keep it away for some time. It may be worth a try if it persists (btw, I'm 18 weeks and still getting them, bum!!)

vapour rub? that close to my eyes.....ermmmmmmm ouch lol.......

Its eased off a bit now ive had lunch but its still there niggling away, i might cave and buy some paracetamol and then feel guilty for the rest of the day....

Dont feel guilty bout taking paracetamol. It has no effect on baby and if it helps your pain and stress... I had terrible headaches in the first trimester. Lavender oil on temples is good and cold flannel really helps. Hope you improve. x

Hi Jingle I too have a headache and am having the same dilemma.

I bought paracetemol today but didn't take it

I hope yours has eased, I have a gel eye pack in the fridge I might try, or the cold flannel..
