Hi ladies

Just want to know the signs you had rubbing up to labour, although I've had 4 children before that was 9-15 years go and can't remember anything! 🙈

Since Saturday I've had sickness and diarrhoea, pressure in my bum last night and just feeling so tired today more so then normal...is it signs or just me hoping?

Sounds like it could be to me Smile

Following! I’m 35+6. I’m so, so uncomfortable and having weird contractions in my back and upper legs - very mild but I’ve never had these before and they’re reminiscent of menstrual cramps. Discharge seems to have increased (tmi sorry).

My dr today said my placenta is mature but cervix seems to be closed and long for now. She said to be ready any time now

Any progress yet @jamie01? Smile

Nothing 🙈 I'm still feeling pretty rubbish, headache, nauseous just restless

I guess this could last for days at! I hope it is all a sign Smile

Following as I'm in a similar situation! 38+2 with my first and feeling very fed up already 😩. I had a little bleed on Friday and then lost some brown mucus on Saturday morning (sorry TMI). Nothing since! Feeling pretty rubbish today and run down with a cold. Praying that things are moving along but also aware that I'm likely to be late with it being my first. I'm just so fed up and uncomfortable 😣

GuidingSpirit · 19/10/2021 15:59

At 37+5 i was so tired i had to take a nap about an hour after breakfast. I basically napped all day on and off! At 37+6 my waters broke and DD was born at 38w. Here's hoping they are positive signs for you!

jamie01 · 19/10/2021 16:16

@lockdownbabyx I feel you, I'm feeling more run day as the day has gone on..bunged up, sore throat. It sounds like some of your mucus plug has come away?

Every night I'm thinking could this be the night, I'm getting so impatient and fed up now lol

@GuidingSpirit oh that's sounds promising..I hope anyway lol

The last 2 days I've had no energy whatsoever and back to napping in the day and sleeping so much better at night.

These last few weeks are long and slow! 🙈

@jamie01 yes i thought it could be that too, it did happen after intercourse though so I wasn't sure! But nothing since like I said 🤦🏻‍♀️ I'm so impatient lol.
I've just had a nap and now woke up with a sore throat too! How weird haha. I'm not actually sleeping great at night, even though I'm shattered! I tend to nap better during the day x

jamie01 · 19/10/2021 19:14

@lockdownbabyx lol same!

Haha ah it's horrible isn't it, I hadn't been sleeping great until the last couple of nights I've just be exhausted. Im in bed already, im going to try keep my days busy and distracted so im not waiting on her to arrive ... hopefully she'll come then lol

I still have a dodgy tummy, on Friday night I had waves of back pain .. was thinking it was time but nope yesterday morning all stopped.

Why is the last month the longest?! 😂🙈

@jamie01 nothing new here! 39 weeks today. Other than feeling very uncomfortable, especially at night time I have no other symptoms that labour is close 👎🏼. DP is working nights next week so I wouldn't be surprised if that's when it all starts happening lol. How are you feeling? X

jamie01 · 24/10/2021 20:08

@lockdownbabyx oh no, nighttime is the worst isn't it. I'm good thank you, as like you so uncomfortable the pressure down below is immense 😫

Lol least he'll be up and awake! Being half term now I'm going to keep busy with the little ones and if I don't think about it, labour might just start lol x
