So I’m 37+4, went for a growth scan today (getting scans every 4 weeks as I’m at risk of pre-eclampsia). Baby’s growth is perfectly fine, placenta is fine as is blood flow of the cord. However, my amniotic fluid levels are low (AFI = 11 according to my notes). They did a swab to see if I’ve been leaking any fluid that I might not have noticed and it came back negative. They’ve booked me in for another scan in week and if the levels haven’t increased then they’ve said they’ll induce me. I’m so worried and was just wondering how likely it is that my fluid levels will increase between now and then?
