When are you meant to swap from trying to convince vitamins to pregnancy vitamins? Or are you even meant too?
I'm scared to switch over!

As long as they've not got vitamin a in them they're basically the same thing and you don't need to change. Just buy the cheapest available.

Pregnecare tastes rank and made me feel sick try and find an alternative :)

Hi,

When I conceived I'd stockpiled Pregnacare Conception tablets. I went to check on their website and the content for these and their Pregnancy tablets are exactly the same so I've kept on using up the ones I bought- currently 19w!

Would think this would be the same with most brands but you can check online if you need to.

Lots of people have said pregnacare is hard on their tummy, I've been fine with them but do always take after food.

I just used up my preconception ones before heading on to the pregnancy ones. I’ve been fine with Pregnacare but I know lots who’ve said they’re not good for a delicate tummy - a friend who had that issue got on well with Seven Seas.

Or last thing at night literally before you nod off.

I used seven seas conception vitamins and as they contained everything pregnancy vitamins did I just used them until they were finished and then moved onto normal pregnancy vitamins - did no harm at all

My midwife said to finish what I had of the pre-conception Pregnacare and then move on to pregnancy vitamins. So I was taking pre-conception until about 6 weeks, then I chose to take Pregnacare pregnancy. They are much cheaper than the pre-conception of the same brand, and I haven't had a problem with them on my stomach, but perhaps that's because I take them just before I go to bed.

I'm currently taking seven seas trying to conceive - I'll finish the packet and get their pregnancy ones. Thanks for all the advice Thanks
