ever had or considered a maternity portrait. My oh is away in the forces and may not be home in time to see me looking like a big whale lol as i may have given birth by then. So i was thinking of having a professional photo done in black and white. Perhaps with a expert photographer he may be able to create the famous demi moore pose and make it look all natural and beautiful failing that it could be air brushed. Id feel a bit uncomfortable doing it but id think my oh would love it and its something that i didnt do for the first pregancy. What does everyone think are there photographers that would do that do you reackon?

Sounds like a lovely idea.

I know there are various "for your eyes only" photographers - I know loads of girls who have been to have photos done before they get married for their husband to be. Very very professional - they may be able to help you - just google for your eyes only.

A friend of mine had lots of photo's taken by a woman who specialises in bump-photography! The results were beautiful - the friend is quite shy (or so I thought) but is merely draped in a silk or velvet cloak for some of the pictures. AND her DS was there - he was about 3 or 4 and he got to whip his top off as well.

It's a great idea! Will you post the results here...?

not crazy, lovely idea!
Look in back pages of pregnancy/baby mags, there's always ads for this.

Try an internet search for children's and maternity photography. SWPP site also lists local photographers. What area do you live?

I've booked a photoshoot of my bump with www.newidstudios.co.uk/index.php

For £40 you get a 'bump' photoshoot - complete with make over/pamper session (hair, hands and face!) then a pics of the bump.

Then once baby is here you go back for another photoshoot with baby! All inclusive price.

I had a makeover with them back in October and was impressed! Also if you look on last minute offers on their site can often get good discounts on this already fab price!

I had a free photoshoot for someone who was building up their portfolio (not nude btw). DH hated the pics for some reason, don't know if it was because it was a male photographer? I don't know, not helpful anyway. So I got my sis to pick 2 prints and they are now in our loo so I guess DH has got used to them by now.

I think it is a lovely idea and I was already planning to do this after doing some sexy shots for my husband before our wedding (which he loved!).
