Can you get pregnant without ejaculating?

I'm really freaking out right now
Just had my 2nd baby via c section 17 weeks ago (1st is nearly 3) the pregnancy and recovery was very difficult, just about feel normal. I am EBF
We had intercourse for the first time on 28th September but only for a few minutes and did not ejaculate inside. I think I may have ovulated a few days later as I had all the usual symptoms I get (headache, cramps) etc
Last week I had all the usual period symptoms I get, but no period. I have read a lot of people getting 'phantom periods' before their period returns postpartum - last time mine did at 11 months pp
I also had one of my tubes removed due to a mass on it when I had the c section - surely it must be really unlikely I am pregnant?

I got pregnant from the pull out method and currently 5 weeks! Didn’t think it was possible!

ShowOfHands · 18/10/2021 12:09

It's possible. Some men have sperm in their pre-ejaculatory fluid and some don't. You don't know which category your partner falls into sadly.

elliesmummy19 · 18/10/2021 12:10

It's definitely possible but I'd say unlikely. Do a test to be sure though.

Isn't said for no reason...

Shock
Shocker doesn't cover it...
Do a test op..

Pyewackect · 18/10/2021 12:13

Highly unlikely.

WheelieBinPrincess · 18/10/2021 12:15

Doesn’t sound a likely set of circumstances at all. More likely your period is still a bit irregular from being post-partum.

cantthinkofaname2021 · 18/10/2021 13:02

Okay thank you all, I'm too scared to do a test, it does seem unlikely though, just the fact I have bad gas lately made me worried Blush

Doing the test or not doing the test doesn't change whether or not you're pregnant. At the moment you're scared anyway. Do the test and it tells you whether you need to be. It might vanish the worries away or give you time to deal with the answer.

Honestly can't do it I'm too scared Sad
