Travelling abroad 16 weeks pregnant with twins

Hi all! I am debating on whether to go on a pre booked holiday ( this holiday keeps being cancelled from March 2020!). We are due to travel in December when I will be 16 weeks pregnant with twins. I haven't met my consultant yet and won't do until it is too late to cancel my holiday with a full refund. Has anyone had a similar experience? I feel totally fine by the way, morning sickness has faded just tired and hungry.

Hi, I'm 24 weeks pregnant with twins and I would say you'd be totally fine at 16 weeks. The scans get more often and intervention is possible from 24 weeks onwards so best to stay local then, but 16 weeks would be fine. If I hadn't been really sick I'd have done the same

Hi, no twins for me but I went on holiday recently (4 hour flight) at this time with no problems at all. You have a midwife appointment at 16 weeks so maybe see if you can have that early? It's very standard urine, blood pressure, weight etc.
I had mine at 14+3 and they could hear the babies heartbeat, but did say this is more difficult before 16w.

I travelled at 17 weeks with twins. Was fine and had a great 'last gasp of freedom' break.

Great thank you all so much, I really do need the holiday! Even without the drinks haha

I travelled at 20 weeks with twins to new york. As long as you move around on the flight and are low risk, I’d go for it.
