I found out I was pregnant 2 days ago, got my BFP at 13DPO on a frer, I took another test today the line seems lighter (I will attach photo) I've also had period like pain and earlier got some red blood when I wiped :( I know it's still early, I am 4 weeks today I believe. Just feel so anxious and scared to go to the toilet, this is such a wanted pregnancy I just can't let myself feel happy because im convinced im doomed

Sorry hun.... is the bleeding when period was due?... maybe didn't implant correctly etc ... and doesnt look like very strong positive... so maybe something wasnt quite right... STILL do call doctors and go get checked cause could be so and so xxx sending you hugs please dont despair

I'm sorry you have had a bleed and quite rightly are very anxious and nervous. Personally I believe its not over until its confirmed by either epu or gp. Give either them a call and ask if they can do hcg blood testing on you to check your levels and to also repeat them 48 hours later to see if levels are rising like they should. You will drive yourself mental with the pregnancy tests. For now I send you so much love and I hope it turns out OK for you ❤️

I had bright red bleeding like that with both of my sons (and quite a gush for one). Transpired to be fine (I think due to hormone levels not quite being sufficient to stop the bleeding?). Hope the bleeding stops and everything is ok.

Actually those are strong lines so please don't be discouraged by that. I had this exact thing also, turned to brown blood quickly. I'm now 29 weeks pregnant
From reading stories it really can go either way. Get in touch with doctors and get checked. If it continues and gets heavier I'd be more concerned

Thankyou all for the response so far, yes I was due to have my period yesterday i believe, I'm not always regular though.

I also did think my line was quite strong for 13dpo, but I'm definitely no expert. However my line was definitely a bit lighter today as you can all see. Not a great sign.

I guess it's just a waiting game (a horrible one) to see what happens, will call GP tomorrow however don't hold out much hope they will do my bloods as I'm so early? Not sure

But some of you have some positive endings to similar situations, don't want to get my hopes up but it's nice to know there's still a glimmer of hope

Just thought I would add that this could very well be implantation. Every woman who gets an implantation bleed will tell you that everyone's is different, some woman actually even get clots with theirs. You could also have a hematoma. I had one and have had 2 bleeds. It's so scary but I genuinely hope everything is ok. I hope your gp or epu are helpful ❤️

I forgot to mention my lines were slightly lighter in the AM also or with first wee of day. That also panicked me!

Yes like above poster said. Tests can differ in strength for dye reasons and for how concentrated your urine may be.

My bleeding has stopped luckily, there wasn't much, however my test this morning seems lighter again 😢

I have an appointment Thursdays morning for bloods, have very little hope left at all ☹️

If possible have plenty rest and plenty water! And just be kind to yourself until you have some answers xx

Before I knew, I had quite a heavy (for me) period that only lasted one day...I thought it was odd, but didn't think much of it until the next one didn't appear!

Just because there was 'some' blood at a time you would have expected it, doesn't mean it's bad news.

Unfortunately, after having a scan today, it was confirmed that this pregnancy has ended in a miscarriage 💔
