Hi

Has anyone experienced this or got any advice?

I had a big gush of blood bleed about 2.5 weeks ago. Thought I had definitely Miscarried but saw the heartbeat the following day. Since then have had 12 week scan last monday and all fine but i have continued to have a dark brown staining everyday since the big bleed.

I am worried as I think this seems too long for the leak remaining blood from the big bleed to come out.

I was told my placenta was low and this might be the reason for the bleed?

Has anyone else had this? Is 2.5 weeks too long?

Am trying to be boyant but it does worry me everytime there is some more when I visit the loo.

Any advice /reassurance welcome

Good wishes to all

hopefully specksmum

It's not that unusual but you ought to go back to the unit for another scan just to make sure you don't have placenta previa and it's bleeding from there. Brown blood is definitely better than red blood though.
