Anyone have experience of this? We had a cyst (currently only 1cm by 1cm) picked up in top right lung at 20 week scan last week. Follow up consultation the next day at the same local hospital didn't give us much more information but we have a further consultation at our larger hospital on Tuesday. Would be great to hear others experiences.

My son had this if you still need to talk to someone about it x

Thanks @Tunnocks34 . I'm now 35 weeks and it's been confirmed as a multi cystic CPAM (basically the whole of the left lower lobe is cysts rather than lung tissue) Under consultant care at the Rosie in Cambridge and all going well so far. We are all hopeful baby will be asymptomatic at birth and we then just need to prepare for surgery at around the 1 year mark to remove the lobe.

@GemLooper exactly the same type as my son, although his was the right lung. Ezra’s lower right lobe looked like a bunch of grapes on a ct. He is 2 now - lobectomy at 1 year old and has thrived ever since (he was also born symptom free and he had a moderate case) - most of the children I’ve met with CPAM are born healthy and screaming! Best of luck. Glad you’re getting the best care xx
