Back massager - am I safe?

Hi - wondering if someone can help ease my anxiety. I was in a department store recently and the assistant was demonstrating a back massager. Without really thinking when they came near me I said yes to a quick test without really thinking. It was only maybe 1/2 mins long, but I’ve panicked myself as I’m in my first trimester. Am I over reacting? My scan is in the next week and I’ve already built up so many nerves for it! I haven’t had any symptoms that anything is wrong but have worked myself up over it.

Couldn't possibly have had any effect on your baby OP. Baby is very safe in there and your body is working hard to protect her/him; it would take something much more seriously damaging than a back massager to cause any problems. And congratulations. Flowers

Kindly, yes, you are massively overreacting. Think logically…how on earth could that effect your baby?

Have you always been this anxious?

Bells3032 · 16/10/2021 16:11

It's fine. I have one at home and used it a lot to no ill effects

Thanks all. I appreciate it might look like I’m over reacting and highly anxious but first baby and everything is very new. I feel much better now.
