Covid and ttc

Hi all,
Me and partner are ttc, and have been for this month. Just found out that partner has tested positive for covid. Since we are trying I'm abit worried if it would affect it.
Would covid be in his semen? Could that possibly infect my reproduction area? I know it's probably tmi but there's no information about this.
Thank you

If your worries just hold off for a bit? I highly doubt it though.

I’m going to assume this question is a joke.
No, you can’t catch Covid through semen.

I don’t really know what you mean by infect your “reproduction area”? You won’t catch covid of the vagina.
But obviously you could have caught it from him anyway.

Covid infection can temporarily impact on sperm quality, although this usually resolves within 3 months if it occurs. But it's absolutely not sexually transmitted. That said, you might want to avoid being physically close until he's recovered, so that you don't catch it from him (if you did, it would be through a normal route for transmission of respiratory infections, though!).
