Was diagnosed 4 weeks ago with GD and managed to be diet controlled up until now.
33 weeks now and my fasting reading have been high, I had 3 at around 5.4…
Diabetic team does not seems concern at the moment and told me to keep going and will catch up in a week.
I am worried as I see that lot of people go on medication with just 2 high readings.. I definitely would love stay diet controlled and not taking any meds, but is this dangerous for the baby?
My last 2 growth scan were fine, is around 40-50 percentile and no big tummy.

Between 32-36 weeks is the hardest time to control readings with GD due to increased insulin resistance. I know personally my readings shot up from bang on 32 weeks. I was started on insulin after almost a week of consistently high fasting readings. I would follow the advice of your diabetic team, keep an eye on your readings & contact them if you have any concerns.
