Does this look positive? It’s really thin 🤯

Are you kidding OP?

orangejuicer · 15/10/2021 14:53

Not being mean but that is a strong positive, what are you doubting?

babyboybluex · 15/10/2021 14:53

Yep this is a positive!

user1473880439 · 15/10/2021 15:23

@orangejuicer

I’m just doubting as it’s a really thin line and not as thick as precious pregnancies when using this brand before. Also testing negative on other brands and don’t want to get my hopes up due to previous MC and ectopic

@orangejuicer

Sorry that should say previous pregnancies*

Of course it's positive

user1473880439 · 15/10/2021 15:30

@Luckytattie

I’m just questioning and doubting as I have tested negative on a different brand. I know it could be early days but I’ve also used this CB brand previously and never had that thin of a line. The leaflet that comes with it only mentions faint lines not varying sizes eg. Thin or thick etc.

I guess I’m just a doubter due to previous MC and ectopic pregnancy I had back in April 21.

It looks strong to me. It's usually the strength of the pigment rather than the thickness of the line that's important. Fingers crossed for you.

user1473880439 · 15/10/2021 15:50

@orangejuicer

Thank you so much. I suppose I will just leave it a couple of days and retest and hopefully that’ll remove any doubt I have in my mind.

That looks a really clear positive to me, congratulations!

user1473880439 · 15/10/2021 17:27

@Scirocco

Thank you. Not counting all my chickens yet (if that’s the saying). Testing negative on other brands will need to retest in a couple of days.

@user1473880439 I've found First Response to be the most accurate early on, so if you're retesting it might be worth trying one of those too. Different tests will have different sensitivities, which may be why you've had different results, especially when it's still early.

user1473880439 · 15/10/2021 19:54

@Scirocco I tried a First Response tonight and it looks really faint almost invisible. Feel like I have line eye 🙈.

The CB 6 days early is 10mlU/ml sensitivity so not sure if thats why it’s picked it up. Will need to retest in a few days. I’m going to try wait until Sunday (emphasis on try, feel like I’m getting obsessive).

Will update here x

@orangejuicer @babyboybluex @Luckytattie @Scirocco

Negative on different brands. Looks like I had a faulty test ☹️

Help!!

Oh my goodness I can't believe it. I'm so sorry. I would contact clear blue and send them that test as they may want to investigate it.

Scirocco · 17/10/2021 15:43

I'm sorry. Thinking of you. 💐

SylvanasWindrunner · 17/10/2021 15:49

Sorry OP. It does look faulty due to the width and unevenness of the line, you were quite right. Those Clearblue blue dyes are horrible tests IMO. So many dye runs, evaps, shadows, faulty lines.

babyboybluex · 17/10/2021 15:49

What! That is crazy. Your first test was sooooo clear @user1473880439 🥺

I'm so sorry! I hope you are ok? Sending you a big hug x

user1473880439 · 17/10/2021 15:55

think I might contact clear blue as it’s quite upsetting to get a line like that within the stated time frame on the leaflet in the box and for it to be that clear and in the right place. The only thing that was throwing me was because it was so thin but it also did look as if it was trying to thicken out but didn’t if that makes sense. Just really gutted now because I had myself all built up.

Thanks for everyone’s help, advice and comments really appreciate it! Definitely think it’s a brand I’ll be steering clear of in future x
