COVID/ Flu Jabs

Hi everyone,

When is everyone getting their jabs?

I had my last COVID jab March so due the booster.

Pregnant due early May and worried if I have it now it will run out by the end of third trimester, or that I wont have 'good coverage' when most at risk. So considering waiting until later.

What are peoples views?

And when are people getting the Flu jab? After 12 weeks? or anytime.

I had both Covid jabs pre pregnancy. I had my second one a month before I found out I was pregnant. I had my flu jab today and I'll be 12 weeks on Sunday x

You can safely have your flu jab at any time so I would get this sooner rather than later as flu cases are already on the increase.
I think your concern about timing of your covid booster is a fair one as you don't yet know if you'll be offered any further booster (or if you'll need one) in the spring before you deliver so I probably would wait a few more weeks to "make the most" of your booster!

I had my 2nd covid jab in May and fell pregnant june. Im still trying to get a flu jab. I cant seem to get them in my area atm. Covid booster due nov/dec time.

I only had my second Covid jab in September so I don’t think I qualify for a booster
Had my flu/whooping cough jab this week and am 31 weeks. There was a local shortage otherwise I would have got it sooner

Thanks all,

Yes I am definitely doing this, just not sure when.

I was thinking early december because that will take me 6 months to early may but that seems both very far away and still tight on the coverage.

Its difficult too know what to do.

I got my flu jab the second someone offered one to me. Definitely make that one your priority.

I'm due my Covid booster, but I'll be organising that through work when I can. I think it's reasonable for you to delay a couple of weeks, but waiting until December is a bit long. Early/mid November will just about squeak you in under 6 months coverage.
