did you wait for period before trying again? I got told to Cus of dates and that I have to wait for my first period before trying again, I'm still bleeding from my mmc.. but the Im like, if I test in 3 weeks like I was told and keep getting negatives, surely I can then track and start trying Cus I'll know that my new positives would be from new pregnancy, if that makes sense? Thanks

It's fine to do this but it would be a good idea if you track it somehow so you can give NHS a rough date. You could do bbt to identify ovulation (may be accurate to the day if you have a nice clear temp jump) or alternatively if you do one preg test a week you'd be able to work out a week's window roughly from that.

Me - currently 6w5d, no period in between. Conceived around 3 weeks after my last miscarriage.
I only know how far long I am as I had an early scan at the EPAU, due to multiple previous miscarriages.
I did have a bit of a wobble before the scan as I wasn't sure I'd cope if I'd miscarried again in such a short space of time. Tbh if this one doesn't work out I'd probably have a break before TTC again but that would be for my emotional wellbeing.
I hope it all works out for you x

Yes, I did. Had not been told anything about waiting or not. It just happened and at first I was concerned noting was possibly missed in D&C.

Me...
Had an early miscarriage last cycle, bleeding started sept 20th.
Found out I'm pregnant again 2 days ago.
Fingers crossed this one sticks 🤞🌈
Good luck ladies x

Yes I did. I asked the sonographer in the EPU who scanned me first time round when I could start trying again, she said I didn't need to wait for a period, though a nurse told me it was best to. So I just started trying again once I'd stopped bleeding. Midwife at booking in appt then dated me from the first day of my MC bleed, as if it was the first day of LMP, and the due date I was given at first scan was 1 day different. They weren't bothered at all. It was an early loss though - around 6 weeks or a bit less.

Yep. Found out I was pregnant beginning of March, miscarried at 10 weeks in May. Fell pregnant again right away, miscarried at 6ish weeks in June. Fell pregnant again right away, got my positive test on the 12th of July and currently 17 weeks pregnant. So I haven't had a period since February!

They say it's best to wait because it makes it easier to date your pregnancy but it's not necessary if you're emotionally/mentally ready to try again right way. I started tracking ovulation again as soon as my pregnancy tests were negative so it wasn't too difficult to get a rough date. Wishing you the best of luck!

Thank you so much everyone! I know very ones different and like you guys have said it's about being emotionally ready too, but if I could click my fingers again and be pregnant I would! So, that's no issue and for me is part of the healing too I think. I haven't taken a test yet, not seen much point since I'm still bleeding, but I do have an ovulation kit and as soon as I'm getting back consistent negatives I'll be ovulation testing every day and don't see why I can't try as soon as I get that window. I got pregnant fast last time too, 3 weeks after copper coil removal had a positive, so I have a feeling this will be just as fast, wishing luck to you all!!!!!
